Infielder Brendan Roop hit .326 as a freshman for Fort Scott (KS) College in 2019. Along with Colt 45s teammate Jakob Machuca, Brendan was part of a Greyhounds team that played in the NJCAA DI Regional District Championships. In 14 games he hit .326 with a .535 slugging percentage, banging out 14 hits with three doubles and two homers. He is a product of South Grand Prairie HS in Texas.
